Release Notes

This release contains many fixes including some suggestions from users.
  • Sort on any column by clicking column header (ascending or descending)
  • Ability to open and concatenate multiple log files (select multiple from open dialog)
  • Ability to automatically browse the default log directory (When running on a SharePoint server)
  • Full Text Search (of log Message, Category, and Process AND combined with other filters)

Awful product. Uses the same name as the official MSDN "ULSViewer", which creates confusion. Useless - shouldn't be on CodePlex.

Very useful, thx. I won't use notepad to view logs anymore.

Not so much features as ms viewer, but works locale independent ... After the October CU of SP ms ulsviewer needs to run under en locale to understand the logs

The Microsoft ULS Viewer is better (more features e.g. real-time logging, better filtering) http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/ULSViewer/

Haven't testing this good enough, but compared to the http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/ULSViewer/ it doesn't looks like it has a lot of the same feature.

I've only used this for about 10 minutes but already it's helping immensely. The interface is very intuitive, simple, and powerful. Thanks Stefan!

Great features. Works intuitively & w/out asking for the obvious (e.g. where to get logs.) Bad: UI could be more responsive; needs indicator of making progress: after d-click on the exe, nothing happened; checked TaskMan to see if it was running. No indicator while loading log file (goes blank.) Good: footprint is tiny; UI clean; needs no install; loads multiple logs at once (awesome). Recommended

Great tool, much easier to read the logs than Notepad or Textpad.
